Scammers hide harmful links in QR codes to steal your information
QR codes seem to be everywhere. You may have scanned one to see the menu at a restaurant or pay for public parking.
If you receive a phone call from someone claiming to be an employee from Marquette, do not share your password or numeric codes needed to log in to your online banking account with them. Bankers do not need your password to assist you with your banking needs. Hang up and report anything suspicious by contacting your local branch.
